Matariki Disco

Come and celebrate Matariki with us at the Gore Kids Hub Matariki Disco!

Join us for an evening of music, dancing, face painting and glow-filled fun as we celebrate the Māori New Year together with our community.

This event is perfect for preschool-aged tamariki, with older siblings very welcome to join in the fun too! Please note that parental supervision is required for all children.

The fun doesn't have to end when the music stops! Afterwards, take a stroll through the Gore Gardens and enjoy the beautiful Kāhui Whetū light display—a magical way to continue celebrating Matariki together.

Bring your dancing shoes, your biggest smiles and your whānau for a fun-filled evening celebrating community, connection and the stars.
